Macam-macam
It has been long time not blogging. I had a lot of things to do, starting from a trip to Kuala Lumpur for Visa application, moving out from quarters, packing several belongings, and many more. My hubby just went back to the UK just recently. But still with his help I could do several things faster. Only 10 days left before departure. I hope to get Visa by this week. In other words, I have to go to KL again this or perhaps next week. Abang and adik are very happy as they knew that they would go to his ABAH in just a couple of days. As usual, ABAH couldn’t be alone at our ‘new’ home in Newcastle. He repeatedly called us at home. Sometimes, it more than 5 times per day. Abah, please make yourself busy with something ok!!!!
Abang just like abang, always active and very happy with his new look. When I said about ‘new look’, abang need to wear glasses!!... His both eyes reach about 350 plus…(the power) and ‘silau”. We went to optometrist yesterday, try to fetch suitable frame for him. I think abang a bit fussy with his glasses, he tried many pairs of frame, nothing suit him until, one fellow girl, gave him blackish and half frame which I think go well with him. Happy with that!...but he urge me to take that only frame back with him. We had a talk a couple of minute persuading him not to behave like that. At first, he still ‘masam mencuka’, after a while, okla!!! Handsome pulak anak mama ni!!..tak la boleh lawan ultraman lagi dengan adik as for sure your glasses will fly together with the ‘ultraman’ action.
At office, still have walk in patient requesting many sort of treatment. I’m sorry sir my time is just so limited to do extraordinary treatment. Simple filling plus extraction I could do for you!! The new officer will report duty on this Friday. There are two of them. One is Chinese man and another one is Malay lady. Both of them are very new in service. I hope that they will coop with so many workloads, management, staffs, ISO, patient!! I really hope that they could bring this clinic to the best ever dental clinics in my state. During my stay, I have done so and so to ensure this place is better than other. We always become the example to other clinic. Why? It because our commitment to every works, activities that we had done yearly. I’m really happy staying here, surrounding with easy going people, hardworking, and committed friends. Sad to think that a couple of day more I will leave of this building facing the new setting that I couldn’t still describe. I hope with this choice I will insyallah be a better me in the coming future. Hope after three years abroad, I will come back and serve my nations efficiently. That’s my promise.
Today, 14 of August, my staffs did farewell for me and dr f. we had our lunch at Seaview Restaurant. Dr F a bit late as she need to travel from alor setar to reach here. We started a bit late though! The food was good and we enjoy it very much. I had to give a final say to my staff. Rasa sedih juga, but I can control myself, but dr f, berlenangan air mata jugala… we had gone through hard and tough time together to bring what we had now in KP Kuala Perlis. As ‘kenangan’ they gave me ‘cenderahati’. Sebenarnya, I did tell them that I need a new’ telekong’, tapi tak ada yang cantik. So dah dapat pun this new one… thank you so much!!
p/s:Abang started wearing his new glasses. He looked so cute.

Choosing a dentist
What should you look for when choosing a dentist?
You may wish to consider several dentists before making your decision. During your first visit, you should be able to determine if this is the right dentist for you. Consider the following:
- Is the appointment schedule convenient for you?
- Is the office easy to get to from your home or job?
- Does the office appear to be clean, neat and orderly?
- Was your medical and dental history recorded and placed in a permanent file?
- Does the dentist explain techniques that will help you prevent dental health problems? Is dental health instruction provided?
- Are special arrangements made for handling emergencies outside of office hours? (Most dentists make arrangements with a colleague or emergency referral service if they are unable to tend to emergencies.)
- Is information provided about fees and payment plans before treatment is scheduled?
- Is your dentist a member of the GDC (General Dental Council)? All GDC member dentists voluntarily agree to abide by the high ethical standards reflected in the GDC Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct as a condition of their membership.
You and your dentist are partners in maintaining your oral health. Take time to ask questions and take notes if that will help you remember your dentist's advice. Hope every one of you happy to have a visit to Dental Clinic nearby you at least ones a year.

Aerobic class
Athletics has always been important to my family; my late father played quarterback for his high school football team when they won upper-state championship, followed by my mom, she was also active in sports. Before I even reached the age of five years, my father had taught me how to swing and hit T-Ball. Soon after that, I could hit a fast-pitched baseball and slide into home plate. Hahah! Abis semua mak punya pinggan pecah! Unfortunately, during the 1980s girls were rarely seen play this game as it was very new game. Every now and then I used to play netball or became runner.
Once I began dental school and then again, once I began full-time dental practice, my sedentary lifestyle took its toll on my health and my body: I gained 9 kg in six year (from around 50 to almost 59++). I need to do something. Since my hubby was not around, I think I need to ‘manjakan’ diri by attending spas or going into aerobic class. So pikir punya pikir, I decided to register with one Aerobic class in my town. At first day I was so energetic to attend the class as I wanted to know how it was going on. Aiyaa… the first day was so ‘berterabur’ plus I got back pain, muscle ache. I didn’t gave-up. I went the second day and until now. The session was worth it. Although here and there missing in action, I knew that a strong fitness program was necessary to regain my body and health. My weight remain static, but the difference I noticed was my tummy, getting slimmer sikit la!!! Heheh I hope my husband-getting impress with my new emergence. New look, new style! Nowadays, I feel myself a bit healthier, fit and strong than before as every day I am doing the exercise. It helps me to relax and enjoy myself while doing the movements. I wish I could say “I lost bla-bla pound or kgs”, still hoping for a new weight!! For me if The Almighty chooses me to be healthy through out my life, I am very grateful. That is the point. Good health is for everybody. Take care of food intake, regular exercise, and gain a good happy lifestyle. Do not create stress in our daily life. Be happy and do not worry.

Abg Muadz
The principal Ms Balvinder requested to see me regarding the progress report of abg at school. A bit surprised as 5 years old boy, he had three assessments, done with a good result (BM 84, BI 80, and Science 91). Ehmm looking at his exam paper simply like the question I took when I was in year 1, 25 years ago. Soo tough!! I am sure, when abg in year 1 in two years time, the question was a bit harder than this. Therefore, I guess he would follow the path in which the exam oriented is the measure for grouping him as an outstanding, average, or just satisfactory. I send my kid to kidder garden when he reached 4. He started to know the abc stuff so early, hoping that he could manage to read by age 5. Ambitious mother haah! So many things I want my abg and adik to involve in, attend music class, at least they can play one musical instrument, swimming class, chest class…..etc. During my time, there was no such program. So now kira balas dendam lah!!! Kesian my abg n adik. Abg started quran at age 4 plus. Now he going to qaraati 3. Nowadays, he was a bit lazy or ding-dong with me to read quran, as he had so many cartoons to watch. Tv ni pun satu hal juga. I urge myself to be as the crow flies with him. I have to discipline myself so that I can knob abg properly. It was not very easy to teach quran by your own. I took this challenge, although I knew, it was tough and not easy. Good luck to me though!!!

Simple and short
Walaaaa!!! Sunday was my busiest day ever. I started to do all the hanky packing. The first to start with was the kitchen. I didn’t noticed that since six years ago I had bought so many glassware and tupperware! I couldn’t believe it! That was why my husband always nagging at me. Where should I put those entire things? I think I should organize yard sale or car boot sale to do all the clearance!!! Hello! Hello! Who want my things? Aiya nobody want oldies item…
So tired cleaning the house, our stomach was grooming. What should we make for lunch? My abg suggested that we had laksa, but not ‘beli’ ones, but home-made laksa. So, staring at the clock, it seemed too late to go to market to buy fish, then I decided to go to ‘pelantar ikan’ nearby the sea. Started the car, heading toward it, luckily all fresh fish were there, the fishermen boat just arrived and I and my Bibi need to bring the plastic bag to get certain amount of the fish. We had 2kg of fresh “ikan selayang’for only RM4 to make ‘kuah laksa’… sure delicious…want the recipes?
How to make “laksa kuala perlis “!!!
Aiyaa… I have no specific ingredients on how to make kuah laksa, First I rang up my mom to ask the list of all item, then I just follow my instinct on how much of each to put. As long as the kuah laksa finally jadi. Hheheh… until now my instinct is still correct and acceptable as everything that I cooked “menjadi’ and alhamdullilah everybody like it especially my mother in law (MIL). That was good enough to impress all my in law. Ehmmm ok let see the final result lah!!!
Ha.. This is my home-made laksa. You can see but you cannot eat!! Yummy

Happy Father's Day
Today abg came back from his school with something! He was so impatient to show me something impressive art he did at school. I didn’t expect any thing as he was not really artistic. He didn’t do well in coloring and also drawing. Same as me, I’m not very skillful at anything that to be relate at art work like drawing, coloring and the worst part writing. I’m kind of straight-forward person. Don’t know how to be so creative, perhaps my ehmm which one ya left or right brain… don’t know la… can’t function to the maximum level.
Back to my abg drawing….he shown me this…..

What do you thinks his card to his ABAH? Okey lah

although there is here and there spelling error, i thing the effort is count. Thank you abg for giving this card to ABAH. We are now counting the time to be with you really soon!!

Weekend Agenda
It was so boring day. I don’t know how to describe it as this day was tremendously gloomy. My morning session was started by accompany my mom in law breakfast. Then get ready to walk off to wet market. In my mind, my today’s carte du jour will be nothing. I would say I don’t want to get busy with the cooking stuff as no body will come to my dwelling today, and of course my husband was not around. My intention to cook was not exciting anymore. Usually, my husband was the one who will taste my cuisine, he will tell me whether my cook good or just ok. As usual, the comment was pleasant to ignore. However, my elder son wanted something special from his mom. Then that is why the ‘bihun soto’ came across my mind while having my breakfast just now. I rushed my car heading to pasar. Luckily still have the chicken for my soup; I bought 1kg potatoes for making ‘begedil’, chilies for the ‘sos’. That is it. My maid prepare all the stuff, washed the chicken, and veggie. At 11am, I started my cooking. Almost 1230, everything ready. At that moment, adik and abang playing pool outside the house. We had our bihun soto at our backyard. Bibi took out the mat, place it on the floor, brought all the food outside, everybody sit, and we started to eat. Thanks God, there was no rain. Adik and abang enjoy their meal very much! I was very glad to see them very happy having their lunch. So we were like having a picnic!!! Ok lah tu
After that, adik went to sleep but abg remain watching ‘ultraman’. I have no idea why all the kids (perhaps) like to watch this cartoon. My sons keep repeating the same cd all day long. Moreover, the worst part now, the movie is in the astroceria. I cannot event watch any dramas or news. Every time my mood to watch my tv was disturb by head banging, or crying, or quarrel to get the tv remote. This cartoon so much influences my kid on how they behave. Sooo scary! What need to do? The words like “tak guna’,’bodoh’, ‘baik kapten’, ‘bersedia untuk berlepas’ always become their daily use. Acting like their superhero is a must everyday. At times, adik will become a “raksaksa’ and abg is “ultraman”and vice versa. No wonder they keep saying what they hear in the movies! I tried to stop the tv and channeled to a different cartoons, but still the keen is there (their HEROES). ULTRAMAN, who‘s in this universe has created you until all kids (especially boys) like to watch you!!! After years watching this film, I manage to learn by heart all the characters. Starting from Ultraman’s father (Taro), his mothers (Tari kot.. hehehe) and his siblings (Tiga, Nervius, Seven, Ultra), perhaps a lot more to come in the future. I don’t know when will they die!

Just a reminder.....
My time is so precious. At time, I feel that the clock needle moving so fast as I am afraid that I could not finished my work on time. So many things have to do before the departure to the
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think it is very tough to be a first-class “muslimah” if certain criteria are not being in me. What are those criteria?
Foremost, accept that God Almighty exist, He will help us at any conditions. It depends on how quickly or slow He lends a hand. But don’t miserable, please be patience.
Secondly, I should say is pray sincerely. ‘aku sembahyang arini lillahi taala ka atau tangkap muat je?” seriously say that sometimes we try to drag our feet to the last minute of pray. Why? This question must be answered. In our heart, there is no affirmation that God always close to us. For me we have lack of feeling of seeing somebody who loves us most! Why? We don’t love HIM as much as HE love you!! That is the reason why we always delay on doing our duty. Never do things that will only prevent us to do things that are much more important. Nothing is much more important than obeying what God asks from us. Stop anything you are doing. If somebody were to ask you where you are heading, say that you are answering God's call to prayer.
Thirdly, pray in the middle of the night. This, I could say very tough one. Thanks to Him if He choose me to do it constantly. It is very hard to wake up early in the morning. I don’t know why… I can’t make it as a routine. If say, I had a problem then the tendency to do it incline drastically. I feel that I’m not sincere enough to gain someone help me!! When I reflect of my attitude, I feel so sad.
Fourthly, recite His name as often as possible. Zikrh, reciting His name will ultimately make me a strong Muslim because we are constantly reminded of what good He has done for us.
What are next? Be grateful for everything I have. I’m very happy to have a wonderful husband, two adorable kids, and insyallah to succeed in doing my specialist training. The more thankful we are the more we will realize how much we have been blessed. In addition, by doing this, God willing, we will be stronger because we will believe that God is present.
Fast for the right reasons. Neither because you want to impress others, nor because you want to feel superior in terms of popularity when you get fitter later. Fast with the intention to please only Allah, and to get the reward for fasting. Also fast because you will be able to perform solat correctly and also because you want to be responsible over your health. Nevertheless fast because of remembering those who do not have privileges like food and water. I urge myself to fast at least twice a week, preferably on Mondays and Thursdays.
Never lie. It should be emphasized again that God hates his adherents to lie to others. My integrity will directly have an impact towards my dignity. People will look high upon me if I am honest and true to whatever I say.
Struggle towards goodwill. Sacrifice my time and visit the mosque if there is a lecture. Forfeit my property to those who needs it more than I do. In other words, always give charity. The recipient will be thankful that you have given them aid in their daily life. Remember, the one who gives is better than one who receives.
Be gracious towards my parents. They have worked hard to bring home food. My mother has suffered all the pain just to bring me to this world. What have I done to say thanks to them? They have brought joy to my life by buying anything every now and then. Have I acknowledged that and appreciated them? Do whatever they expect of me and I will be fine.
Never sough over my loved one's death. Know that God did that because He loves my loved ones even more than I do. Accept that death is a resting phase for my loved ones against all the trouble this world can bring about.
Never waste my Time on useless things. The wasters will be the brother of evil. At day of judgment, some items/properties are going to talk for the reason I wasted/damaged the properties. Wisely use my time!!
Read the Qur'an/Hadith Regularly. It will keep my iman stronger. It will keep my soul pure. Hope I’ll get ‘barakah’ for every letter I read.

Happy 6th Anniversary
24 of May marked my 6th anniversary of wedding. We started as just a friend 10 years back. The friendship went on and off. At one year, we just silence, nobody between us dare to say hello at one time. The journey we went through was so fluctuated, no hope I could say with that relationship. However, year of 2000 the love story was on track again. A letter from him, make my reflection on him changed drastically. I didn’t know that he still work very hard to win my heart. At that time, he just finished his master at UTM, and I was in my final year. From there on, our love flourish until now and hope to be stronger ever after.
Ayang,
Thanks you for being such a wonderful person to me. Sometimes, it ‘s hard to put my feelings into words, but I want you to know that hardly a moment goes by, that I’m not thinking about you, wondering what you are doing, wishing I could be with you, and counting the hours until we are together again. Now and again, when I’m with you, I don’t let you know how special you are, and how your love means more to me than anything else in my life. I may not always tell you, but I want you to know I love you much more than words can say. Happy 6th Anniversary to you. Enjoy your stay in the
p/s: if I had three wishes, I’d wish that you were here, or that we(me & kiddo) were there or that we (me & you) were both someplace else together!.(missing you so much)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We’ve been together quite awhile.
I love you for so many things,
Your voice, your touch, your kiss, your smile.
I can relax and just be me.
Even when my quirks come out,
You think they’re cute; you let me be.
You’re irresistible to me.
I’m drawn to you in total trust;
I give myself to you willingly.
You view me with a patient heart.
You love me, dear, no matter what.
You’ve been that way right from the start.
I’ll always love you like I do.
We’ll have a lifetime full of love,
And it will happen because of you.

Kem BTN Ulu Sepri
Keep up a good work!!!...
Amin!
P/s: utk peserta kumpulan 9(rafidah, radin, shah,qib,diana,hafizan,dr azlin,nadzri, arifah,syam&zurina) please keep n touch yaa!!!

Mak's Birthday
So Mother's day is here again! Happy Mother’s Day.
11 May every year, we are celebrating a day for every mother in the world. 11 May always remembered me of my mom. She turns into 58 this year. Although the “58” stuff still not make her too old…she still happy with her daily routine at her home. Her wonderful cooking will not make us away from her kitchen.. as me and my sister always here and there run to taste her delicious menu. Yesterday, we had “makan-makan” at my sis house. We decided not to let her cooked for us. She can have a rest until the lunch ready. My sis did “ gulai ikan seludu+ sambal belacan mangga +sayur manis buah betik+ bakar ikan + ulaman“ . So sedap sampai menjilat cari. At the same time, we bought a cake to celebrate mother’s day plus her birthday!.. She was so blissful as all her family around her to rejoice the yearly occasion together except my father. My father had passed away in 2002. .. So long, time ago… but still he is always in our mind for every single of day.
My mom’s hobby? She is very skillful in putting or arranging the flower in a good manner. (Think about myheartbleeds …expert in flowery stuff too!)She also very expert in “hantaran stuff” I can’t imagine she can manage to have sort out many ‘tempahan hantaran’ especially during school holidays. Although, she has no workers to help her to do the deco, still she can put it to death by her own. I think my mom is much-disciplined person. If she said, she wanted something she will get it by any means. Every so often when I ‘m free I used to help her in arranging the flower on the ‘hantaran’. So I could dig up the skill from her too!!. Free of charged!! That‘s would be so ok.
As a government pensioner, her customer always from her old friends, at times the customer just knew my mom from the previous people who deal with her regularly. How is the price? Usually my mom rarely put the price so high. This is not the business of her getting on to but this is only the hobby that always boosts her free time at home.
Any diseases she has. Let me put this way. In 2006, she was diagnosed with ‘Chronic Renal Failure”. She was so depressed at that time, cried almost all the instance, and afraid of the future she gone through. I was helpless (and clueless, I must admit). (The main thing that crossed my mind then was that I knew I should have taken medicine and be a doctor - only then I may offer her something. Too late!!). She was admitted to hospital due to the need of urgent dialysis. Started with peritoneal dialysis, and now with three days hemodialysis per week, she has recovered so much. Her self-esteem shoot up again, she will not give up facing the life without any harm. I am glad to see her getting back on her tracks. Pleased to see her energetic, motivated, and cheerful.
Oopss.. don’t make me angry?... mak always say like that when I did something wrong. I am very soft heart. If mak said something… I always ‘terasa’. I don’t know why. Sooo suffer!! Sometimes I feel like I don’t want to talk to her for couple of days… but still can’t. The next days then I called her and pleaded for forgiveness. As a daughter, I want to give the best for my mom. I don’t know what the best to give her: my loves, cares, happiness, valued stuff (hand bag, clothes) or perhaps money!!... I don’t think the last one will value something. Mak will never ask for my money actually….in contrast she still gives us money esp masa baru dua tiga bulan kerja…atau tersepit . Dah besar panjang pun still hope for mak to help you!! So sad
Mak, this is for u!
You've
always been
a wonderful
mother -
and the older
I get,
the more
I've grown to
appreciate you
as a
great friend too...
When you share
your experiences,
feelings,
and insights on life
with me,
I realize how lucky
I am to have
such a wise,
caring mother.
And I feel
something else
that's very special
between us...
...the deep understanding
that links women heart to heart,
that lets us laugh and cry together,
that leads us to listen
and learn from
and count on each other.
Because you're my mother
and my friend,
because you give so freely,
because we share so much -
I love you, Mom.
Happy Mother's Day
p/s: A mother never cease being a mother even when the children are old and gray. I don’t know what would happened if mak was not here anymore! Thanks to Him that I still have mak!..Again I love you.

Just Wonder : MSc vs MClinDent

My Friday is always full with a "crown patient". I will finish two crowns per week and send them to private dental lab in Penang. Actually I would love to try sending my impressions to Petaling Jaya Dental Lab, so that i get to know which lab can give me a good quality of PFM crown. But till now I still stick on to this, the only one dental lab....Why? Maybe because of the quality, cheap, fast!! Foremost I knew the technician there! That will be easier for me...I more interested in cosmetic dentistry or restorative type compare to other field such as oral surgery, perio, paed, or ortho. I like to see my patient happy with their look... I'm not kind of person that can wait to see the outcome. When you involve in ortho for example, the duration of time to see the results would be 1-2 years... you see... so longg... I can't wait actually!... so that's why I think for my Master degree... I would prefer to enroll for MSc Restorative or MClinDent Prostodontic. Actually, I went for "Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan " interview. I just put MClint Dent Perio!!... I don't know why? May be at that time.... I just don't know my interest would be!Once I got the scholar.. then i realize I have to change the course. Luckily the University that approve my application still have vacancy ...Alhamdullilah...
Let think positive la!!!....

THE BUTTERFLY VS FLOWER
Once there was a man who asked ALLAH for
a flower....
....and a butterfly.
But instead ALLAH gave him a cactus....
....and a caterpillar.
The man was sad, he didn’t understand why his request was mistaken.
Then he thought:
Oh well, Allah has too many people to care for...
And decided not to question.
After some time, the man went to check up on his request that he had left forgotten.
To his surprise, from the thorny & ugly cactus a beautiful flower had grown
And the unsightly caterpillar had been transformed into the most beautiful butterfly.
ALLAH always does things right!
His way is ALWAYS the best way,
even if to us it seems all wrong.
If you asked ALLAH for one thing & received another, TRUST.
You can be sure that He will always give you what you need at the appropriate time.
What you want...
....is not always what you need!
ALLAH never fails to grant our petitions, so keep on going for Him without doubting or murmuring.
Today’s THORN...
Is tomorrow’s FLOWER!

"Kalau tak suka pulangkan"
I think everybody should read this story....
Sebuah kisah untuk renungan kita bersama.
Kereta dihentikan betul-betul di hadapan rumah. Pintu pagar automatiknya terbuka. Perlahan kereta di halakan ke dalam garaj. 'Horey! Papa balik!' Kelihatan anak-anaknya berlari mengiringi keretanya.
'Tepi! Bahaya tau tak?' Jeritnya.
Anak-anak termanggu. Cahaya kegembiraan di wajah mereka pudar..
'Aimin bawa adik ke belakang .' Arahnya pada anak yang sulong.
Pulangnya petang itu disambut dingin oleh anak-anak. Isterinya turut terdiam bila mendengar anak-anak mengadu tentang papa mereka.
'Papa penat. Aimin bawa adik mandi dulu. Mama siapkan minum petang.
Dia bangun.
'Hah! Main air. Bil bulan ini papa kena bayar dekat seratus. Cepat! Tutup paip tu! Buka shower!' Sergahnya. Suara yang bergema mematikan tawa anak-anaknya. 'Asal saya balik rumah mesti bersepak. Kain baju berselerak. Apa awak makan tidur aje ke duduk rumah?' sambungnya kembali bila isterinya terpacul di belakang pintu.
'Anak-anak pa. Diorang yang main tu. Takpe nanti mama kemas. Papa minum ye. Mama dah siapkan kat taman.' Balas isterinya lembut.
'Fail saya kat depan tu mana?'
'Mama letak dalam bilik. Takut budak-budak alihkan.'
'Boleh tak awak jangan usik barang-barang saya? Susah tau tak? Fail tu patutnya saya bawa meeting tengahari tadi.' Suasana sepi kembali. Dia menarik nafas berat. Terasa begitu jauh berbeza. Dia tercari-cari riuh suara anak-anak dan wajah isterinya.
'Laila…' K eluhnya Akhirnya dia terlena di sofa.
'Saya nak ke out station minggu depan.'
'Lama?' Soal Laila.
'Dalam seminggu.'
'Cuti sekolah pun lama. Mama ikut boleh?'
'Budak-budak?'
'Ikut jugalah.'
'Dah! Takde! Takde! Susah nanti. Macam-macam diorang buat kat sana. Tengok masa kat Legacy dulu tu…'
'Masa tu Amirul kecik lagi.' Balas Laila. Wajahnya sayu. Dia masih berusaha memujuk biarpun dia tahu suaminya tak mungkin berganjak dari keputusan yang dibuat. Tak mungkin peristiwa Amirul terpecahkan pinggan di hotel dulu berulang. Anak itu masih kecil benar sewaktu ia berlaku. Lagipun apa sangatlah harganya pinggan itu malahan pihak hotel pun tak minta ganti rugi.
'Bolehlah Pa! Lama sangat kita tak ke mana-mana.' 'Nak jalan sangat Sabtu ni saya hantar awak balik kampung,' Muktamad! Demikianlah seperti kata-katanya. Anak-anak dan isterinya dihantar ke kampung. Laila tak merungut apa-apa meskipun dia tahu isterinya berkecil hati.
Bukan..bukan tak suka malah dia tetap sayang sekalipun Laila bukan pilihannya. Dunia akhirat Laila adalah isterinya. Cuma.. 'Mizi, makan!' Panggil ibunya yang datang menemaninya sejak seminggu lalu. 'Jangan ikutkan hati. Yang sudah tu sudahlah.'
'Papa! Makan!' Jerit Aiman ,anak keduanya sambil tersengih-sengih mendapatkan dirinya. 'Tak boleh panggil papa elok-elok. Ingat papa ni pekak ke?'
Aiman menggaru kepalanya yang tak gatal. Pelik! Kenapa papanya tiba-tiba saja marah. Dia berpatah semula ke dapur.
'Awak masak apa?'
'Mama masak sup tulang dengan sambal udang!' jawab Amirul memotong sebelum sempat mamanya membuka mulut.
'Takde benda lain ke awak boleh masak? Dah saya tak nak makan. Hilang selera!'
'Papa nak ke mana?' Soal isterinya perlahan.
'Keluar!'
'Mama dah masak Pa!'
'Awak saja makan!'
'Takpe Aiman boleh habiskan. Cepatlah ma!'
Laila tahu Aiman hanya memujuk.
'Papa banyak kerja agaknya. Dah! Makan.'
'Abang tak suka tengok papa marah-marah..' 'Adik pun sama. Bila papa marah muka dia macam gorilla kan?'
Airmata mereka bersatu. Pilu sungguh hatinya melihat kekasaran suaminya terhadap anak-anak.
'Cukuplah pa. Papa dah hukum pun dia tapi janganlah sebut yang bukan-bukan.' Ujar Laila perlahan
'Macamana awak didik budak-budak sampai macam ni teruk perangainya? Tengok anak orang lain ada macam ni? Anak kak Long tu tak pulak macam ni. Panjat sana, kecah barang. Gila apa?' Omelnya kembali.
Shamizi meraut wajah.
Malangnya tak lama kemudian kedengaran bunyi tingkap kaca pecah. 'Celaka betul!' Sumpahnya sambil menghempaskan akhbar ke meja. 'Abang!'
'Baik awak tengok anak-anak awak tu sebelum saya hambat dengan rotan! Perangai satu-satu macam tak siuman!' Getusnya kasar.
Akhirnya tingkap yang pecah kembali diganti. Cerita sumpah seranahnya petang itu hilang begitu saja. Laila berubah.
Shamizi terasa puas hati.
'Pak Ngah, Eddie nak balik!' Shamizi terpana. Dia mengangguk. 'Kak Long balik dulu Mizi. Sudahlah! Kamu muda lagi. Cari pengganti.' Alangkah mudahnya.
Ujarnya masih leka membetulkan kolar kemeja batiknya.
' Ikut boleh?'
'Dia tak ajak family. Staff only!' Terangnya sedangkan difikirannya terfikir lain.
'Papa pesanlah..'
'Nantilah besar sikit.' Dalihnya.
'Kalau tunggu besar takut takde peluang. Nanti diorang tu dah tak nak ikut pergi mana pun.'
'Lagi senang. Saya kalau lasak-lasak ni buat hati panas je,'
Laila terdiam. 'Namanya budak-budak. Anak-anak papa tu lelaki.'
'Saya pergi kejap je. Lepas tu terus balik.'
'Never mind. Budak-budak memang macam tu. Kalau tak lasak tak cerdik,' ujar Mr. Kwai, tuan rumah.
Shamizi sedikit mengakui kebenaran kata-kata itu. Anak-anaknya pun nakal tapi amat membanggakan dalam pelajaran. Namun dia rasa serba tak kena bila bersama mereka.
Selaut rindu mula menghambat pantai hatinya. Laila…
Benarlah, kita hanya tahu harganya bila kita kehilangannya.
Laila terus tak pulang sekalipun dia berjanji untuk berubah. Laila pergi membawa anak-anaknya pagi itu bila kereta mereka dirempuh sebuah kereta lain yang dipandu laju. Laila pergi tanpa meninggalkan satu pun untuknya.
When i read this story i feel that sometime we neglecting people who loves us so much....family( mak ayah, suami, isteri... and more). Appreciate them when they still alive and always be around you...

complaining
Addicted to writing…. Ehmm perhaps since last months, almost everyday I have to switch on to my PC. I do not know that this habit is growing fast in me. My son was mumbling at me one night. oopss I realize that with this new job I most probably neglecting them. Sorry son!!!... one day my elder son inarticulate something that I was unsure what was it. Actually, we went to my mom house. I need to rush and left my kids there for one occasion. Suddenly my son said ‘Mama, staying here is so boring. I wish I stayed somewhere else. Grand ma house is awfully small”. My son started to complain. Ehmmm sebesar- besar rumah mak tok ni… dia kata kecik!! I said to him…’sekejap ja mama gi kerja, nanti mama balik kita gi playground. Ok tak?” He was still in a bad mood. Recently, I think my sons already smart enough to complain me on something that did not suit them. Any crop up things, they will come out with the question or disagreement. Can I say that complaining is often a learned behavior. Many children learn to complain by watching their parents complain. If you are committed to keeping your child’s complaints to a minimum, then it is important that you minimize the amount you complain. It is always far more productive and satisfying to determine that “your glass is half full instead of half empty.” I would say that we should teach our kids when it is appropriate to complain and when it is not. Negative comments seldom make things better. Indeed, they usually make things worse. We should encourage our children to be positive as much as possible and to utilize negative response only when necessary.
………………………………………………………………………………………
Still think about complaining. Why are we complaining? We are complaining when we are not pleased with something and say so. Complaining is (I think) saying that something is wrong. It is finding fault with something. When you are with someone who keeps complaining: How do you feel? What do you think?... and what do you do? When we are with someone with this character, I suppose that you might feel unhappy and disappointed. I might say that it is not fun to spend time with the person or perhaps, you might decide you do not want to be around them. For me it is important to treats others the way you want to be treated. If you do not want the people you are with to complain, you must not complain. Too much complaining can make you feel bad. It can cause you to think about the bad things around you instead of the good things. Thinking about the bad things around you can put you in a bad mood. When you are in a bad mood, you will probably have a bad day. You might say or do things that hurt you or the people and things around you. Complaining can be very harmful, sometimes. This does not mean we should keep quiet when something is wrong. On occasion, you might need to complain. Think before you complain. Complain if only it will help change something that needs to be changed. Accept things, as they are if they cannot be changed. Do not continue to complain!!!. Do it nicely when you complain. Try not to shout!. Try to suggest ways to solve the problem. Once you sure your complaint is understood, stop complaining. Listen what others have to say. If they suggest a good solution to the problem, follow it. Remember to think about the good stuff around you. Talk about them. Do not complain unless you need to.

Trip to Langkawi vs Muadz fever
Kuala Perlis, almost everybody knows about this angler’s village. Located 10km from Kangar, having nearly 10,000 populations, nearby Langkawi, and always full by the tourist during school and public holiday. Although, my home just across the jetty to Langkawi, I just can count how many time I make a visit to that legend island. Normally, people go there to buy glassware, batiks, and seafood stuff. Last year, I went there with my family. The intention was to visit
Break…………
Last night my eldest son (Muadz Mirza) was, sick (high fever plus coughing so badly). He could not sleep, every minute he woke up, and then I gave him some medicine. Alhamdullilah, he was getting better. He asked me; Mama why do I get ill sometimes. I tried to answer the simplest way. I hope he understands. I told him that when a part of his body stops working properly, he would get ill. Illness often happened because things called germs got inside your body, dear. Mama, what are germs? Oops, another question pops up from him. Ok, let me put this way, germs are tiny living things, far too small to see. There are billions of them around, on and in you all the time. Most germs will not hurt you, but some of them can make you ill if they get inside you, perhaps through a cut, your blood gets to work on the germs and kill them. Is that ok with the answer, my son? Mama, do I need injections? Abang, (I addressed my son) yes if a drugs need to be put straight into your blood. Nobody likes it, but a little scratch or prick is better than being ill for a long time. Abang was happy with the answer. He slept well until this morning. Thanks God!! Last year abang was admitted to hospital due to bronchitis. Sad when I was looking at him…skinny, tired, refused to eat…maybe he still remembered of having many tube around him… ehmm…. Hope not again.

Arrogant vs Humble

Thursday, should I say "thirst-day"?. In my clinic, this day is always full by the crowd. Normally I have to attend about 100 patients per morning. You can imagine how exhausted I am during that day. Usually I started at 8.30 in the morning, and finish by noon. No tea break in the middle!!!! Getting slimmer!!! I think nowadays people are keened to visit government clinics; perhaps, our facilities are better than private sector or maybe the gentleness of the docs, and also not to forget the front liner (our staffs) are upgrading themselves to be more corporate oriented. I am very happy to see this scenario goes on. As a coordinator of my clinic, my target is to ensure the surrounding community aware of their oral health and willing twice a year to come for a dental check-up. The motivation in me, hopefully can influent my staff to work harder helping the community on the knowledge of dental health and try to change their perception. At the rural area, (like my town) the mentality of taking good care of teeth rarely becomes the priority. Why? Maybe teeth are not so important. But.... if you have very bad condition of teeth, you can even do your work!!!!...then the dentist will be in your mind. This is bad. You come to see us because you got sick with your own teeth....we also become bored with you!!!! Patient usually request for extraction. I said all right, if the tooth was none on the gum surface, but if the tooth still has a good support why need extraction. As a dentist we should explain any alternative treatment so that they know "ooo boleh selamat lagi gigi ni...". Many dentists (same as medical) neglect patient -doctor relationship. Patient is human. They want us to pay more attention on their problem. Take a minute , listen to their story. Give them some idea, if the case worst, then make a referral. For me to be a doctor is easy, you pass every exam, then you are qualified. But to be a first class, compassionate doctor is not that easy. Title of "Dr" itself is not to be arrogant, snobbish etc. If we have those kinds of character, better think twice. Don't be a doctor...wallahuallam

Just to relax
Here I am!!!!... I just came back from my scientific poster presentation. It was so hectic and lousy day. I went for grocery shopping to reduce the flame in me. It always took me an hour to look around the store on what to buy. A few people were there so I hope I could do faster picking up all those thing needed. As usual, many things need to buy. Alone with a huge trolley in front of me...luckily I did not bring along my two little kids...If they were here, you can imagine what would happen.

My first move.....
25th March 2008
Emmm.. this is my first time putting my words in this piece of world. I think it's hard to start a move as I am not sure what to say. For dear sure I may have some idea coming up. I'm not a very good writer, but still I want to write something. My husband introduce me to many kind of blogs. Started with "the pause to reflect" by D in Uk, I could not stop to read her so sad story, then pop up in my mind that i could also share my experiences too. Although there was not as tragic as D in Uk, but the story of me still hopefully fluctuate your heart and your soul too!!!!
